Quentin Tarantino Can Offer Dennis Christopher the Comeback He Warrants in 'Django Unchained'

As Travolta Qantas Video, Robert Forester, Pam Grier and Michael Parks can attest, Quentin Tarantino loves giving forgotten stars large comebacks. Which explains why this latest bit of casting news for Tarantino's approaching 'Django Unchained' should have nostalgists quite excited: Variety reviews that Dennis Christopher ('Breaking Away,' 'Chariots of Fire') is at discussions to co-star alongside Leonardo DiCaprio, Jamie Foxx, Samuel L. Jackson, Christophe Waltz and Gerald McRaney inside the new film. Christopher would play in the lawyer for DiCaprio's villainous slave owner, Calvin Candie. Unsure yet on other casting options, but fingers joined the guy who carried out D'Annunzio in 'Caddyshack' will receive a telephone call. [Variety]
