Tribeca sets 2012 dates

Lionsgate's 'Lincoln Lawyer' pic starring Matthew McConaughey grossed $58 million at the domestic box office.The Tribeca Film Festival's 11th edition will run April 18-29.Tribeca will be accepting submissions from Sept. 19 ahead of an Oct. 28 early deadline and a Dec. 2 official deadline for all features and shorts. There's also a Jan. 11 late deadline, which is only an option for features.The fest has set the calendar for its related Tribeca Film Institute programs, including Tribeca All Access, the TFI Doc Fund, the Latin America Media Arts Fund and the TFI Sloan Filmmaker Fund. Submissions opened Monday with a deadline of Oct. 10.In April, Tribeca logged an overall attendance of 115,000 at movies and panels, screening 93 features and 60 shorts.
