Is 'Kitchen Nightmare' staged..?

So today my family and I had dinner at Leone's. They were filming
'Kitchen Nightmare' there.

Everything was in chaos since they were filming all around, and there
were so many people. It took ages to get out food, which was terrible!
It was so bad Ramsay had to shut down.

Afterwords, one of my neighbors said they had been to Leone's and it
was a really good place.

So now I'm wondering if 'Kitchen Nightmare' is actually staged...
