TCA: 'Raymond' Creator Jams TNT For Axing Ray Romano's 'Men', 'Jackie' Air Discusses Pitching To 'Roomful Of Fear'

Ray Richmond is adding to Deadline's TCA coverage. On a lively and colorful mid-day TCA panel marketing the autumn PBS four-hour series America in Primetime, Everyone Lives Raymond creator Phil Rosenthal blasted TNT because of its recent decision to cancel Raymond star Ray Romano's latest series, dramedy Males of the Certain Age. Kevin Costner could join Tarantino=?UTF-8?B?4oCZ?=s Django Unchained

*Kevin Costner is the latest A-list name to be associated with Quentin
Tarantino’s next film,* _*Django Unchained.*_

Being pitched as a ‘Southern’, _Django_ plays with the
tropes of Westerns in a story about a freed slave (Jamie Foxx) who
attempts to save his wife from an evil plantation owner (Leonardo
DiCaprio).

According to _Deadline_, Costner would play Ace Woody, the evil
sonofabitch who’s responsible for training slaves to fight in
amusement park Candyland.

Costner’s not struck a deal yet, but he’s clearly
interested in working with Tarantino for the first time. And with a
character like that, he’d definitely have something to sink his
teeth into.

Next up, Costner is playing Clark Kent’s father Jonathan in Zack
Snyder’s _Man Of Steel._
